How I fix the missing piece
1) Assess what your body is doing in the saddle
We identify the strength/mobility/control gaps that show up as compensation: collapsing hips, brace patterns, uneven stirrup pressure, drifting, dumping a shoulder, losing your outside, etc.
2) Build rider-specific strength + control (not random workouts)
You’ll train the exact patterns that transfer: pelvic control, hip rotation strength, trunk stiffness (the good kind), adductor/abductor coordination, and the “stay stacked under pressure” skill.
3) Progress it into performance
We bridge gym → saddle with progressions that match your discipline. The goal isn’t perfect exercises—it’s a more effective seat and a horse that can stay straighter, freer, and more consistent

Why this works (and why it’s different)
Your horse responds to forces. You are a major source of those forces. If you collapse, brace, or shift, your horse compensates, often through the shoulders, ribs, SI, or stride timing.
Generic strength training helps, but performance riding requires control + coordination at the pelvis/hips/trunk. That’s where most riders leak power and stability.
PT should get you out of pain. Performance coaching gets you back to doing the job at speed. This is the bridge.
